Circusland: Svetlana, tell, how your career of the artist of a circus began? Why you have chosen for yourselves a genre of "contortion"?
Svetlana: I began to be engaged in sports gymnastics in six years. When to me it was executed fourteen years, during one of training I have fallen and have received a serious trauma. With sports training it was necessary to finish. At this time one of good familiar our family taught in circus Studios of my native city of Dnepropetrovsk. I have made the decision to test the Forces in a circus art. Any serious plans, At me then was not, and I counted that my rehearsals in studio it only a hobby. During the first viewing, experts have paid attention on my Natural flexibility. Therefore with a choice of my circus genre all have been solved already On first my rehearsal. In total in circus studio I rehearsed two years.
Circusland: You do not belong to a circus dynasty. Who your parents and how they have considered your choice?
Svetlana: My parents is a ordinary workers. My mum is the seamstress and father - the builder. When father has learned about my choice, he has not approved it. This employment seemed to him insufficiently serious. Mum has decided that the choice should be only for me. I was then already independent person.
Circusland: You age then was...
Svetlana: Then my age was seventeen.
Circusland: To start to perform in a circus without friends and experience. Probably, it was uneasy?
Svetlana: Yes, at the beginning it was very difficulty. Some times I had a desire to stop the career in a circus and have other business. Now, certainly, I do not gather to end my circus career.
Circusland: Rehearsals, performances, tours... On something else time remains?
Svetlana: Time remains a little. Basically a free time I spend on arrangement my Moscow apartment.
Circusland: How there are mutual relations with admirers? Who they?
Svetlana: I cannot tell, that it is a lot of them. In streets of me do not learn and do not ask to give the autographs. I all the same not a rock star and not a film actress... Among my friends there are also famous people, but it only familiar.

Svetlana: For example, I had good relations with musical group Tiger Lilies. The last year I even was photographed for a cover of their compact disc. But once again I repeat, it only friendship.
